Preparatory Meeting

 

 

I. START BASICS
  • Date: 25 -26 June 2009
  • Expected number of participants: 130
  • Place: Belgrade, Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Hotel “Moscow”

II. BASIC GOALS

The needs of Balkan countries for significant investments are known to everyone. There are numerous bilateral meetings, interstate agreements and negotiations held. Many countries still do not have definitely defined strategy of energy development. Among numerous ideas, studies of feasibility and projects, legal flaws, the investors are cautious when it is about the complete, wide and with full capacity involvement in the construction of new power plants.

On the other side, local municipalities, industrial plants and final energy consumers, due to undefined parities of energy price, are wondering around in the search of the most efficient energy orientation and commonly wait for someone else to discover ways for their proper development.

For all the above reasons, the wish of the organizer is to collect at this meeting all important companies, leaders in the energy sector, willing to develop the energy of the Balkan countries and to invest in it.

Construction of energy infrastructure:

  • Transport infrastructure (power level lines, gas pipelines, oil pipeline)

To the conference we invite the representatives of countries interested in investments: Albany, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Serbia.

To the conference we invite also all the interested representatives of investors from all over the world.
